So we wanted to do the Michaels challenge even if the trend passed. This was done in a local Michaels in Millbury,MassachusettsTime

I couldn’t bring any big lights so I decided to use my speed flash.Equipment
I used my canon T6is , Speedflash ( third party ) , and a 55mm lens along with a 70-300mm telephoto lens!Inspiration
The Michaels challenge. I always like the idea of bringing an ordinary thing out into a beautiful place. The most “ugliest” places can be the best locations for photosEditing
I used Lightroom classic to fix the lighting along with photoshop to bring out the eyes and a filter to bring the colors out. I also smoothed the skin gently and removed some spots but not a lot so it stayed natural.In my camera bag
Before I had canon , I now have a Nikon Z5 , Sigma lens, speed flash, and tripod. I like to keep things simple in my bag.Feedback
Angles are your best friend and sometimes wide angle lenses aren’t the best. Get a lens with a macro to get up there or be like me and lay on the store floor in weird angles , have someone else to help. I had my fiancé help me hold some stuff up or hold me up while I angled myself.
