This photo is taken from my window. I have a fantastic view so I tend to have a lot of great photo moments from there.Time
It's sometime in morning. It was a thick mist covering the valley down my view and the sun rising up gave it a fantastic shimmering tone.Lighting
The natural light from the sunrise was just perfect for the mood in this picture.Equipment
This is taken 2015 so I used my first more "advanced" camera, the next step after mobile camera... It was a Sony DSC-HX400V. I usually like to photograph only hand held since I want the freedom to move around the object I want to capture.Inspiration
Mist and fog have always fascinated me and now I had the opportunity to try to capture it. I wanted to see if I could capture the beauty and mystic feeling I experienced myself by looking out from my window.Editing
I always work in Lightroom and did so with this one too. I wanted to enhance the soft feeling from the mist and I also made the color a bit more intense to make it extra "dreamy".In my camera bag
I always carry my camera(of course), an extra lens, one extra charged battery, extra memorycard and cleaning equipment.Feedback
If you want to photograph mist you might want to be an early bird. The opportunity to capture the most beautiful moments in nature is in the first light through morning mist. It's magical!
