Location
this photo I have taken just before winter starts in the way from "El Chalten" to "Laguna de los tres" just below "Fitz Roy" in Argentina.Time
It is about mid day, but at this season at this part of the world there is a constant grey light. the air is clear with spars rain and snow drop.Lighting
The grey constant light required either high sensitivity or wide open aperture or use a tripod. I usually don't carry a tripod while tracking.Equipment
That would be the first time I dared taking my 85 1.2 to outdoor tracking. many reasons not to, including its weight and size. at these time i was more concentrated in portrait photography, and I didn't think this lens could be helpful in landscape shooting. I didn't take many photos that day, but after reviewing the outcome of that day this lens became my first choice for almost everything.Inspiration
It was my second time in this reserve, but this time I approached it out of tracking season. I was worried with the weather, and I didn't expect to see this colors. I was overwhelmed with the autumn color combination with the glaciers and mountains.Editing
I've made some sharpening and contrast/brightness adjust. In my camera bag
canon 5D mkII, EF85 1.2L, EF16-35 2.8L, EX580, and now I got my EF24-70 2.8L IIFeedback
I will say, that going out of season will undoubtedly be one of the columns on which a "one of kind" photo stands upon.
