Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the model's apartment. The weather had taken a bad turn, so we made the best of it in her space.

Time

Late afternoon, I believe.

Lighting

Lit with a speedlight camera left, with a small softbox, triggered by remote.

Equipment

Shot with a Canon 7D mark II, 24-105mm lens, and a 430 EX III speedlite.

Inspiration

Working with Lexy always gets us great images, she's got great prescence, and is an inspired model. We usually just put the elements together and let the magic happen.

Editing

Yes, I played with the lighting a little, improved the contrast. Nothing major.

In my camera bag

I always have my main camera, a Canon 7D Mark II, my 24-105mm F/4 lens, and my 430 EX III speedlight. On this day, I also had my 50mm F/1.4 and a few remote triggers.
