This maple tree is in my pasture and every Fall its leaves change to a beautiful warm yellow.Time
I walk out to my pasture multiple times of the day with my dogs so they can run around. In the Fall the sun is shining through the leaves about mid morning and I found this to be the ideal time. I took this shot at 10:19 am.Lighting
The sun was my light and it filtered through the leaves so the shadows were not too deep and there wasn't as much contrast.Equipment
I shot this with a Nikon D750, Nikon 70-200mm f4 lens and handheld.Inspiration
I loved the warmth of the golds that depicts the perfect Fall day.Editing
I used Lightroom for post-processing. Increasing the exposure, clarity, sharpness, and vibrance just a tad. I also decreased shadows and highlights a little bit.In my camera bag
I carry a Lowepro backpack that has a Nikon D750, Nikon 85 f1.4, 24-70mm f2.8 and 70-200mm f4 lenses. I also carry a flash, extra batteries and SD cards and lens cleaner.Feedback
Scout out the place you want to shoot and if time permits look at that place from different angles and different times of the day. That way you can plan your composition and take advantage of your best light for the outcome you want.
