I live in the desert and have yet to accomplish lighting like this. Fantastic!

I'm always out in the desert taking pictures. On this particular evening the clouds were lining up perfectly to create a beautiful sunset. A friend and I arrived in Saguaro National Park just in time to take the short hike up this trail. I'd seen this spot previously and thought it would make a great foreground. The sunset exploded in true Arizona fashion.Editing
Very minor and mostly in raw. I lowered the highlights, increased the shadows and added a bit of contrast and sharpening. In my camera bag
Nikon D750, Nikon D600, several Nikkor lenses, cpl filters, several extra batteries and memory cards, first aid kit, and a Dolica tripod.Feedback
Being in the right place at the right time is always good, but being a little early and staying a little later makes all the difference.
