So honoured to be informed I have just won featured again with this image! Something that apparently rarely happens! So for the second time this year the View Bug Judges have selected this image to feature on the main page :)

Location
My studio is at Logan Village South of Brisbane, Australia.Time
The image as a studio image is not impacted on time of day, but was shot in the morning as part of a bridal editorial.Lighting
This image was a studio shoot using a soft box and grid. I like to shoot back across the light and shape the model to give the negative light source in a Rembrant style of window light. I mostly prefer to use a single light source for my images to give a natural organic feel to the eye.Equipment
Nikon D 610 1/125 f6.3Inspiration
I wanted to capture a emotional image that showed the models softness and beauty. The use of shadow to contrast to her long neck and soft features I felt helped to achieve this.Editing
My Black and WHite conversions are done with layers in photoshop. This image had little additional editing as the simplicity of the beauty made this possible. In my camera bag
As I mainly shoot in the studio I use my NikonD610 with a Nikon ED 24-85mm f 3.5-4.5 lens. I use a Nikon 70-200mm tele for fashion and outdoor shooting. Lighting I have a great pair of Jenbei HD600 strobes. These are versatile and I can use in the studio with bowens mounts for my softboxes and on location.Feedback
For my it is about capturing light. Finding the right angle and working with you model into the light and shooting across the plane of the light ( side) can result in some very cool results.
