I took the photo outside my kitchen window in my agave garden. As I was making a cup of tea I noticed this dragonfly hanging on one of the leaves; so I grabbed my camera went outside and began shooting. I was amazed how long he/she just hung there....I think he/she was restingTime

No ; just a lucky shotEquipment
Canon 650D no flash no tripodInspiration
As I said...saw him/her ; always looking for wildlife to take photos of. I live on acerage so am lucky to have a good eco system.Editing
I used LR4 just did very little on sharpening and contrast. In my camera bag
Canon 650D with twin lenses. I always have my 55-250mm on the body.. I prefer this one as I can't always get up close with the wildlife. I am saving up for a tamron 300mm lense as canon do not make a 18-300mnm. Also have a weifeng tripod which is great; love it! Thats about it. Oh and an extra battery.Feedback
Patience!!! Anyone who knows me will laugh at that ; but I guess I must be getting better at it haha! Just be still and wait for them (wildlife ) to come back they flit back and forth around the same area.
