Location
This photo was taken in Houston, Texas. At the Sabine St bridge that goes over the Buffalo Bayou park.Time
It was during sunset.Lighting
I wanted to show the sunset but also have light on the dancer, so I used a strobe up/left of the camera with high power and HSS so I can also expose for the sunset behind her. Her mother was kind enough to hold my flash and help me create this image.Equipment
Canon 5D MkIII, Canon 24-70mm F2.8, Godox AD200 with remote, Magmod grid and sphere.Inspiration
By this time we had ben walking and driving around Houston for hours, this is one of the very last shots we took that day, I wanted to finish with a sunset shot behind the dancer.Editing
I did a little, corrected color and enhanced the sunset colors, cleaned the floor a little, one of the lamps was turned off so I "turned it on".In my camera bag
Depends on what I'm shooting, but normally Canon 5D MkIII, Eos R, Canon 6D, multiple lenses and strobes, filters, cards, tripods.Feedback
From this image, expose for the background and adjust your strobe accordingly to light your subject, 1 speedlight might not be enough so consider having something with a little more punch.
