Location

Thanks everybody for choose my photo as peoples choise winner. I take this photo from my red rose in Portugal

Time

This was in the afternoon

Lighting

I take this sort of photos not into the sun when its posible. In portugal is light enough in the shadow. Sunlight gives also shadows and thats not Always nice. I am not shore anymore, but in Portugal is not so much rain and i think that i spray the rose with water

Equipment

I used my Nikon D7200 and a tripod. At that time i had no macro lens and i used a zoom lens

Inspiration

The color from the rose and the waterdrops give most of the time a nice effect

Editing

I am Always busy with post processing. In that time Snapseed, a nice program when you dont have photoshop.

In my camera bag

It depends what i am going to do. For this sort of photography i use a very havy tripod from Benro and a remotecontrol for my Nikon D7200. I take also my ringflash from Nissin with me, but i did not use it for this photo.

Feedback

when you make this sort of photos you must have not too much wind outside, then it is better to go into the house. Sometimes i make photos in the dark from flowers and use a lot of depth of field with a small aperture. I flash so many times as nessecary and beautiful pictures
