Behind The Lens

Location

I took this image during a hike to Capanna Leit in Tessin. the location was just below the plateau above lake Tremorgio, slightly off the track

Time

The image was taken mid morning when the sun was just making it's way into view. The time for this shot was based on the time that I got to the spot during a hike. Now that I know the spot, I would definitely go there earlier next time

Lighting

Nothing more than natural lighting was used.

Equipment

For this shot I used a Sony A7 mk2, a 16-35mm lens, an ND and graduated filter attached and a tripod.

Inspiration

Simply the location, the light, and the running water.

Editing

There was some post processing done in lightroom to bring out the green of the moss

In my camera bag

My equipment varies from day to day, depending what the aim of the trip. On this day I was heading up to a spot in the mountains where I was hoping to see marmots so I was carrying a Sony A7 mk2 a 150-600mm, 70-200mm, 16-35mm and an 18mm, along with filters

Feedback
