Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the very hippy commune of Christiana, in Copenhagen. An artist had set up this tea set in the middle of lake.

Time

It was a cold, sunny winter's morning.

Lighting

Whilst the light was bright, I found that by highly over-exposing the photo I could lose all the background and water apart from the reflection, leaving just the tea set in a white background

Equipment

Nikon D90 with the kit 18-105 mm lens

Inspiration

It really felt like something from Alice in Wonderland!! I had to try and give it that fairytale look

Editing

Apart from cropping, no post-processing. The image was created as it is by highly overexposing the photo

In my camera bag

Nikon D90 with 18-300 mm lens, and a 50 mm f1.4 lens

Feedback

Use your imagination and play with exposure times!
