Location
A couple of miles from home, Leader SaskatchewanTime
Just before the sun set. It had been a while since I had seen the sun, as so often happens in Saskatchewan during the winter. It was bitterly cold, but I had this shot in mind for quite a while and was not going to let the weather stop me.Lighting
Sunset is my favorite time to shoot.Equipment
A sturdy tripod, Canon 6D, 24-70 2.8 lensInspiration
I love old cars, and it occured to me that I could line up a shot just like this in the winter, when the sun sets further in the south. The clouds did not co-operate with my plans, it took weeks for this shot to come to fruition.Editing
This is an HDR, processed with photomatix. In my camera bag
For shots like this I normally use my Canon 6D and a 24-70 f/2.8 II or 16-35 f/2.8 II.Feedback
