This looks like a borg cube prototype but much more colourful.
Great capture.

First image I uploaded on this site and the first contest I joined. Honored to be amount the finalists of the Photographer of the Month contest. Too bad I didn't end up in first place though, but who can beat an amazing photo of an erupting volcano anyway! :)

This is one magnificent shot. Must have been an incredible lens - tack sharp and no lens distortion. Great job!

Awesome on so many levels! Would I be correct in thinking that you shot this in RAW and then pulled back the clarity in it a bit in PS Camera Raw? The colour tones have that slightly surreal quality that would seem to suggest it. :-)

It means alot that the very first image I uploaded here and also one of the first images I took with my Sony A7II body is doing so well on this website. Thanks everyone!

This is a breathtaking perspective, and beautiful but also so claustrophobic. I wonder how people can live like that?

I took this photo at night. When I later looked at the photo I was actually surprised that I could see some stars. I didn't see alot of skies from the city during my stay, because of the huge light pollution obviously. I took it at night mainly because of the colours and lights from the houses.Lighting
Taking this photo at night makes it interesting because of all the different lights people use in their houses. Not only that, the bottom area from where I took this photo was extremely lit by very hard ugly light. This was actually positive for the angle for the photo, because the hard light lit this whole square perfectly for a long exposure. I didn't need to take any extra exposure to get the light right.Equipment
I actually had just bought my new camera AND a new lens. The sony A7II with the Samyang 14mm f2.8 . I just took it out for a stroll at night. Used along with my travel tripod : Slik Pro IIInspiration
Hong Kong in inspiring as a whole. Not only the city, but also the nature. I have lived there for over a year and I was back for some holidays this time. I still consider it my second home and always love to take photos there. The city is very packed, and there are alot of places like this where you can look up and get some beautiful views.Editing
I actually didn't do alot. Just basic stuff like contrast, a bit of vibrance and that's it. This image was already great out of the cam.In my camera bag
Well as I mentioned before, I just got some new gear. As I am also a videographer, I took my Panasonic GH4 with some lenses with me to Hong Kong. I just bought the Sony A7 II with the Samyang 14mm f2.8. I also have the Zeiss 55mm f1.8 (amazing lenst btw), the 28-70 kitlens and some Minolta legacy glass.Feedback
As this photo is looking up, I obviously give the advice to look up sometimes! Especially with an extreme wide angle looking up can sometimes give extremely beautiful images. Do not only look in front of you. Same goes for other sides. Photographers are often so rushed when they see something cool that they completely forget about the rest of the environment. Look back, Look up, look around. You can take the most beautiful photos when you least expect it.
