Wonderful phototure. Makes you try to guess what he is thinking. I am heading for Holland next year, so will try to duplicate this one.

Perfect spot, great view on the mills, the person in front of you, the fog in the distance and the sun. Very beautiful!

Location
One of the most popular tourist spots in the Netherlands: Kinderdijk, near RotterdamTime
During a very early winter sunriseLighting
The light in this shot is very hazy. That morning I had hoped for some mist. While I didn't get any mist, I did get this dreamy sunrise with some slight haze. It made for a beautiful silhouet sunset.Equipment
Sony A7II, with the 28-70 kitlens. I think I shot it at 70mmInspiration
My idea was to shoot the sun coming up next to the line of windmills. I was inspired by planned images of sunrises from other spots where the sun was in an interesting place in the composition.Editing
Actually not that much, the colours were made a bit stronger, but not much more than that.In my camera bag
1 or 2 Sony A7 bodies, winde angle 16-35, and a 70-200. Other than that some filters and batteries. I try to travel light!Feedback
Planning is everything. Use software and cellphone apps to see where exactly the sun comes up and goes down. The same can be done for the moon. Get creative that way. It can make some very rewarding shots like this one.
