As a backpacking photographer, I don't carry much equipment. This was taken with pocket camera and a collapsible tripod. I set up the tripod in order to catch the moon the mountain peak in the tent. My husband adjusted the lights in the tent as I directed him to ensure full glow and not a spotty light affect I experimented with different exposures to get just the right look.Equipment
This picture was taken with a pocket size Olympus camera and a small tripod. Oh yes, and don't forget the mosquito net to save me from the bloodthirsty bugs!Inspiration
This was taken Fourth of July weekend, 2014. It was my first backpacking trip after recovering from a significant injury. It had been a particularly long difficult day of hiking, going cross country from one basin, a very difficult climb up a saddle and down into another basin. No sooner did we set up our tent did it start raining. After a brief time of being tent bound, the full moon burst out and I decided to jump out and brave the mosquitoes to attempt this picture. I've been wanting to take a picture like this for years and I was so happy to finally capture it!Editing
