One summer evening I decided to go to this beach, which is about 3 hours from my place. I got there only to have missed the sunset by a few minutes. After trekking around cluelessly, I stumbled upon this canvas and I knew immediately that this was the picture I was after. I shot a couple of frames from this location and then I went back, it was a 6 hour drive for a 20 minute photoshoot but it was totally worth it!

Hi Rob, this is near Cape Schanck. Amazing place for photography, there are so many spots around this area, its brilliant. My lighthouse picture which you commented on is from here as well.

AH HA!!!! This answers my earlier question on your main Lighthouse shot ... I know Cape Shank fairly well having spent many a summer around there with my Kids .. although I haven't been down there for years now .. I remember Pulpit Rock sitting up there ... Well captured ... Cheers Trish.

Hahaha yup, it's one of the spots that I frequently repeat and each time I get completely different shots from here. This was shot on a different day to the Lighthouse picture..
