After 3 days of driving through isolated Namibia we ended up at Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. It was amazing how such a desolate and remote place could offer so much beauty. The heavens turned above us as the wind created medleys in the canyon walls. I need to make plans to escape to this kind of peace and solitude again.
