I love this photo, there is something about photos of elderly people that really captures character and a sense of being. But there is one flaw , due to the fact that our eye is trained to read left to right the eye is drawn to the right side of the shot. In this case my attention is drawn away from the subject towards the dark space beside him. Perhaps the shot could be flipped in photoshop placing the subject on the right.
