Snake's-head fritillaries [Fritillaria meleagris] are one of my favorite wildflowers. In Austria I know only two places to find them – and I 'm looking forward to go there at least two times every year between end of March to mid April. They always remind me of paper lanterns and this impression if even increased when some sunlight gets caught in its calyx.
I've created those bokeh bubbles with a vintage Trioplan lens and used an in-camera double exposure to combine those bokeh bubbles with the wildflower in the sunlit meadow.
