I was driving into the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and noticed this off the side of the road so....of course I had to stop and take a few shots. The composition was inspired by the contrast between the dark green background and the white feathers of the crane. It is difficult to have both the subject and background work for you when shooting wild life.
