Photograph was taken in October 2011 in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in the Inyo National Forest in California's White Mountains. This photograph is a composite of 20 different shots in order to get the star trail effect. Light was from a very bright full moon. Conditions were bitterly cold, and I went through 2 sets of batteries for the evenings photo session.
