Photograph was created on a Nikon D 700 converted for infrared and visible light in March of 2013 near one of the old forts built to protect Songkhla in the mid 19th century. The fort is off camera to the right. The visibility of the trail ahead is made possible by regular maintenance by park personnel. If not for that effort, the view of the path ahead would not be possible. Visibility in the jungle forests of Thailand is sometimes no more than a meter.
