As a female tiger swallowtail butterfly fed, a male hovered over her in a courtship display. This behavior went-on for several minutes as they flitted from flower to flower. I set my camera shutter to rapid fire. Of the forty plus images that I captured, only two or three were what I considered satisfactory. This is one of the images that I retained.
