The one thing i have found fascinating about macro subjects like insects is their compound eyes. This portrait of a green damselfly was shot purposefully to capture the eyes details. For this i coupled the macro lens with a 12mm extension tube and this helped me to reach near to the subject. The subject also cooperated and was hapoy to pose for around 2 minutes.
