Maman, a sculpture of a giant spider by Louise Bourgeois, outside the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, Spain. The sculpture is amongst the world's largest and most impressive, measuring over 30 ft high and over 33 ft wide, with a sac containing 26 marble eggs. Its abdomen and thorax are made up of ribbed bronze. The museum building is coated with titanium plates which catch the light splendidly.

Very interesting! I saw the same arachnoid sculpture in the QNCC convention center in Doha, Qatar. You can find it on Google by entering "QNCC spider". Unfortunately, I did not have any camera on me at that time, but I also thought it would be a perfect choice for an excellent picture.

Where is this place, Ilove the shot but the sculpture of the biggest spider I have ever seen is creeping me out! As I have severe Arachnophobia!
