USA ,Southern California,10/21/2019 Pacific Palisades. Fire. Airplane drops retardant to set the fire line of the Pacific Palisades fire. This is the location of the start of the multiple day fire at the bottom of Palisades Drive in Southern California. The fire retardant will slow down the fire , reduces spread of the fire and reduces the intensity of the fire. The flames are moving up the ridge. According to County Fire Authority report on how fire spread for every 10% slope the fire will double its speed . (unedited photo)
