Lake LBJ Series - 3

This image was taken at dawn, about 80 feet above main lake.
The hills in the background, hint as to how the landscape, surrounds coves found throughout the lake.

Lake LBJ is 21 miles long, with a maximum width of two miles across, and has a surface area of 6.450 acres.

The lake is popular with fishermen, boaters and jet skiers. Predominate fish species are Large Mouth Bass, White Bass, Crappie and Catfish.
The area surrounding the lake is home to a large population of deer.
Other wildlife found by the lake are raccoons, ringtails, 3 different kinds of foxes and, up to 105 species of birds in the Wintertime, making it a popular destination for photographers and birdwatchers as well.
I have not been there in the winter, but would like to have the opportunity.
