a black and white submission prompted by a peer photographer. I found these mushrooms growing on a tree trunk in the hills above Velingrad, Bulgaria. When I first came upon them the sunlight which was shining through the trees had not yet reached the mushrooms. I waited around 20 minutes for the sun to be in "just the right spot" and I am glad I did. I am really fond of this shot.
