Looking through the structural supports of the Bahia Honda Bridge built in 1912.
The furthest depths are about 1/4 mile away (440 meters).
After a new bridge was built in 1980, a section of bridge was cut away, to allow for boat traffic to pass.
The missing section is represented here as a gap between the pipeline and I-beams, at a distance of 128 feet apart (47 meters).
The previous image in my gallery shows the bridge in its entirety.
