Keep Out.
Hoping to find an entrance, I headed to the front gates of my new found photographic nirvana. The apparent easy way in was a gap in the main gate. Nope, not a chance. It was a five inch opening at the most, and the vertical gate poles were wrapped in barbed wire. Try to squeeze through a clawed gap like that and you are going to get F'd up.
Other people than just me were interested and had obviously wanted access too. The chain link fence had been bent, pried and cut in several places. The owners were quite insistent on barring points of entry. Several sections of the fence had been mended and had two or three extra layers of fencing to keep trespassers like me out.
As I walked the fence line looking for an opening, I could hear the fatigued metal in this rusty relic creak and groan due to pressure from gusts of wind off the river. The sounds were a bit creepy but, they were also intriguing , giving the building a new character. I still wanted in, there was just not an easy way to be seen. I had barely seen the North side and, decided to head to the South side of the site to see what I could find before the light faded.

Great shot ! So tells a story of a past era! Great POV, feels as though i'm at the fence needing to be careful of that razor sharp wire. Chimney stacks look awesome all lit up by the golden sun.

The "severity" of the subject...both the building and and the wire/fence is nicely captured in both the intensity of the color and the sharpness of the edge focus. Nice job.
