3. Anything worth sharing about lighting?

I lit her with one studio light with a softbox to the side, the other side was an open light covered with blue cellophane.

4. What equipment did you use?

Canon 550D
Canon 50mm f1.4
Elinchrom studio lights

5. What inspired you to take this photo?

I've always wanted to take photos with paint or colour running down someones face. This shoot was actually supposed to be a test for one I would be doing with someone else later that day, but the model didn't show.

6. Did you do any post-processing? if yes, tell us about it!

Yes, I lighten eyes, sharped the image, darken the blacks and clear the skin.

7. What equipment do you normally have in your bag?

I have upgraded to a Canon 5D Mark II now, still shoot with my trusted 50mm, Tamron 90mm and the new Sigma 24-105mm

8. Any advice for others trying to capture something similar?

Well, find a patient model, this was done a few times and it got in her eyes a lot. Also, use non toxic paint.
