Behind The Lens

Location

In a bath at my friends apartment.

Time

Midday

Lighting

This is a combination of window light and a flash.

Equipment

Canon 5D mark II, Canon 50mm f1.4, Canon 430 EX II Speedlight, Yongnuo wireless triggers.

Inspiration

I've never done a photoshoot by water before, not at a pool or the beach, and since I don;t have a pool and the beach is a bit far, I decided to play with water.

Editing

I brightened the water a tiny bit and obviously did some retouching to the models face, but other than that, no.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 50mm f1.4, Tamron 90mm, Sigma 24-105mm f4, Canon 430 EX II Speedlight, Yongnuo triggers

Feedback

I thought I was going to have trouble with reflections, so I filled the bath with soapy water and it really helped.
