Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in late September a year ago. We often goes into the woods with our dog and I use to look put for nice a motiv.

Time

It was around twelve o'clock when I saw this poison fly agaric standing in all its beauty.

Lighting

The natural light is not perfect. But with some post-processing you can get more contrast.

Equipment

I have my Panasonic Lumix DMC-G80. My four Lumix lenses, G Vario 12-60 mm, 45-150 mm, 12-32 mm and a G 25 mm. I also have a set of close-up lenses for macro photos. When it comes to filters there is one ND-8 filter and one CPL filter in the bag. Some spare batteries, a cloth and one crystal ball is also nice to have in the bag.

Inspiration

I always think fungus makes an interesting motiv. It is fun to go close up.

Editing

I made some processing to get more contrast into the photo. Then I added a fairly dark vignette to really draw attention to the fly agaric.
