Behind The Lens
Location
Lisbon is placed on seven hills which makes room for lots of stairs. I could not resist portraying one of them. Going down low to really get the feeling of going down wards.Time
We spent just a day in Lisbon. The morning was booked for a guided electric tuk-tuk tour. Quite fun. But after lunch we had time to stroll around climbing every hill we wanted.Lighting
I did have much chance to worry about the light since I only had this day in Lisbon. So, my main focus was to get an interesting perspective.Equipment
I use a Lumix DMC-G80 and my Lumix G 12-60 lens was mounted. Leaning on the rail for support.Inspiration
It is a kind of classic perspective that I find interesting. And adding the black and white touch gives it a bit of timeless feeling.Editing
I turned into black and white. There are also more people in the stairs in the original. But I wanted a less crowed feeling, so I have removed some of them.In my camera bag
I have my Panasonic Lumix DMC-G80 and a set of Lumix G vario lenses ranging from 12 mm up to 300 mm.Feedback
Go low, take care of the corners so that the rail comes out centered. Then you have to be patient and hope that it is not to crowded.
