Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while on a mini vacation with my husband, in Hocking Hills, Ohio.

Time

This was taken in the early evening hours in the Fall.

Lighting

Nothing beats golden hour! We were driving around looking for barns when we came across this and just Had to stop!

Equipment

I believe this was with my Canon 7D. 28-135mm lens. Hand held.

Inspiration

The light!!! Sometimes you just happen upon a scene that you weren’t looking for.

Editing

Mostly just average adjustments like contrast. Upped the highlights a bit too, to make the lighting more prominent.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D Mark III. 28-135mm and 100mm lenses, remote trigger and extra batteries

Feedback

Always have your camera on you! You never know when you’ll come upon something! At the very least have your phone camera ready, as I’ve used mine in a pinch and nobody could even tell.
