Fuji X Pro 2 with the awesome Fujinon 56mm f1.2 lens.Inspiration
Emma is an actor and also works with young people who suffer with mental health issues. She’s also my daughter. She happened to be visiting me soon after I made the switch from Nikon to Fuji. I took a couple of images before she realised what I was doing (the Fuji is very quiet) and when she turned towards me with a long-suffering smile I got this portrait; my absolute favourite shot!Editing
I shot in RAW and JPEG, using the ACROS film emulation inative to the camera, so a little cropping and perhaps a vignette. In my camera bag
X Pro 2, XT1, 56 f1.2, 10-24, 27mm pancake and 55-200. All Fujinon. I carry some extension tubes, polarisers, ND filters and a Manfrotto tripod. The Fuji app gives me remote control through my iPhone if needed.Feedback
Sometimes simple is good. Not every shot needs loads of kit or post-processing.
