Location
Lower Lewis Falls along the Lewis river in WATime
It was taken in after sunset, and it was raining hard.Lighting
The last shot I took was 5 minutes and well after sunset.Equipment
Nikon D750 with a 35-70 f2.8 on a tripod with a remote shutter release.Inspiration
I had seen this location on 500px found that is was within a few hours of me. So I setup a road trip to go see the falls around sunset. It ended up raining all the way there but since this was our only time we could shoot we continued with the shoot. We had plastic bags covering the cameras until ready to shoot. I used my hat to shield the lens from rain and ended up with this.Editing
Post-processing was in lightroom, photoshop, and NIK plugin Color EFex 4 Pro.In my camera bag
Nikon D750, 80-200 f2.8 and 24-70 f2.8.Feedback
Don't give up when the weather is bad, I get some of my best shots in bad weather.
