"Everything came together here in this epic shot. The winner chose a nice shorter exposure with still lots of details in the surf. What a moody landscape crowned by a rainbow. A real masterpiece in terms of dramatic landscapes. Congrats!" - Stefan Hefele

Runner Up

"I absolutely adore the picturesque style of werol´s photo. A fine composition is enhanced by rich colors and an exciting brightness curve from left to right. The foreground, as if it would emerge from the sea. Felicitation to this awesome shot." - Stefan Hefele

Runner Up

"Including a human element in this otherwordly arctic conditions illuminated by epic light makes this photo so real and strong.
Johnst had a perfect hand for the exposure time as well as the use of warm backlight. I also see here a wonderful panorama. Nevertheless a winning picture." - Stefan Hefele

"Last but not least I could not come around this expressive vertical. The monochrome mood fits well and does not distract from the detailed middleground. Compositionwise a wonderful use of surf lines and clouds. Thumbs up for this result." - Stefan Hefele
