I woke up around 4am and travelled about 90 minutes from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri by local taxi. Once there, I was told I cannot take my tripod in for security reason (they mistake tripods for guns-:P); Hence I had no other option but to use a wider aperture, an ISO of 400 and click hand held. I used a Canon 10-22mm wide angle lens.

The limitation actually worked well for you and produced a stunning photo. There's a feeling of immensity to this plaza as it's filled with the golden light of daybreak. Beautiful shot.

The place itself. It was built in 1569 by the Mughal Emperor Akbar; the same King who built the impressive Taj MahalEditing
Not much! Just increased a bit of colour and vibrancy. I try and keep my images as natural as possible. Not a big fan of HDR.In my camera bag

Just enjoy yourself. Try using prime lenses as zoom lenses make you lazy. With prime lenses you have to move yourself to get closer or further and this gives you different angles and POVs. If going to use a UWA lens then definitely go for the 16-35mm as oppose to the 17-40mm; even 1mm makes a huge difference in POV.
