Thanks! I think it was worth it to miss the superbowl and have this to myself!

Behind The Lens
Location
Imperial Beach, near the pier.Time
Very late afternoon, just before sunset.Lighting
The light was especially nice that late afternoon. There was a storm moving into the area and the cloud formations were icing on the cake for me!Equipment
I used my Olympus E-M5, and Rokinon 7.5mm Fisheye lens. The Rokinon is a wonderful little lens. It's strictly manual focus without any electronic connection to the camera. It reminds me of the good old film camera days.Inspiration
It was hard not to be inspired to start snapping photos with the combination of ocean, light, and cloud formations. What made it even better was it was Superbowl Sunday, and I had the beach to myself!Editing
I almost always post process my photos. The original was a RAW file and I used a combination of Photoshop and Perfect Effects to create the final version. In my camera bag
My camera bag has gotten much lighter since I moved from DSLR's to the M43 format. I'm able to carry my E-M5 and a couple of lenses without any discomfort or fatigue.Feedback
I think the hardest part for folks wanting to capture something like this is to just be there. This photo was made on a late Sunday afternoon during Superbowl Sunday. My point is that you can't capture a great photo if you're at home watching TV.
