........On a particularly windy day, I came upon what i thought was a striking butterfly in the distance, as I came closer, I realized it was in fact an Anaconda Daylily. For some reason i only had my phone on hand to snap a photograph and, lucky for me my hand model Kadon Hall was close by to stabilize and showcase this remarkable daylily. Daylilies were all orange before botanists began to hybridize them. They are not true lilies, they are native to China, Korea, and Japan. The buds and flowers are often used in gourmet dishes...so they can be eaten, but can be fatal if ingested by cats, if not caught early enough.
....On another note, I don't know why the camera settings were not posted when i uploaded, i did it twice with the same effect....this is not a slide. I can tell you the settings from my phone...as it does appear on my metadata which i can plainly read on my computer.
