Abstract Close Up Architectural Design Art Photography. Taken from a tilted angle , a close up look at the tesselation of glass and steel in the construction of London's famous " Gherkin " building , in the City of London district of the UK Capital. Taken in black and White using High ISO and from a low POV leaning close to the side of the building with light reflecting from the opposite direction to the lens angle thus allowing nearly a full height view despite being at ground level. The original image was taken on film with an Olympus OM2SP then reshot to digital with Max Grain rather than scanning an processing , a technique I currently favour to gain a retro feel to my reproduction pieces for a collection of work I plan to collage at a later date .
