Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my hometown zacharo near Kaiafas lake, west Peloponnese, Greece.

Time

When i visit my hometown at winter i usually take long walks near these rails towards the lake. It was November around 4pm on a cloudy Sunday afternoon.

Lighting

I prefer to take nature photography on cloudy days. It ads mystery in the picture and the colours always pops up.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D80 with a Tamron 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 lens. (28mm f7 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/200)

Inspiration

I make long walks with my camera near the lake especially cloudy days where the atmosphere is mysterious and ghostly. The train stopped passing this area a long time ago. I miss the train and the sound of it.

Editing

I corrected the sky. Sharpening and exposure.

In my camera bag

Normally my dslr with a prime lense but always my canon AE1 film camera.(Never quit)
