Behind The Lens

Location

At Seljalandsfoss in Iceland

Time

Sunset in summertime, so around 11pm.

Lighting

The light at this place can be amazing - as in this picture. I love how the colors of the sunset hits both the waterfall and the cliffs behind.

Equipment

Tripod, 5Dm3, EF 16-35mm f/4 and a 6-stop filter.

Inspiration

Lots and lots of pictures from this location.

Editing

I made a 7 shot bracket to get all the details and put them together in CameraRaw. I've enhanced the colors, sharpness contrast and added a cloud.

In my camera bag

Canon 5Dm3, EF 16-35mm and 70-200mm f/2.8.

Feedback

Come in late spring and summertime to get the right position of the setting sun. Also bring alot of napkins to clean your lens for watervapor.
