I absolutely love how you were able to tell a story with a minimalistic approach. Breaking the rules in all the right ways!

Reminds me of a saying, that no matter where you go, you'll always leave an impact.

Location
At Råbjerg Mile. A huge sanddune in the northern part of DenmarkTime
Around 3pmLighting
The lighting was nice and soft because of the clouds. A few rainclouds could even be seen not far from the location.Equipment
My trusty 5Dm3 from Canon and the Sigma 20mm f/1.4 Art.Inspiration
I've had this idea for a while and was the main reason I wanted to come to this location. I've seen alot of "silhouette" people pictures lately and I wanted to try out my own. I've also learned more about colors and contrast - in generel composition.Editing
Yes. It's actually a combination of two pictures. The sanddune as one and the silhouette and clouds as the other. They're both taken the same day and under the same conditions and with the same picture in mind, but I liked the upper part better in this version than the one I took with sand and virce versa. I toned it more blue and desaturated it. I also added a few Nik filters. In my camera bag
Canon 5Dm3. EF 16-35mm f/4, Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8. Sigma 20m f/1.4 (for nighttime and astro) and 85mm f/1.8 and 135mm f/2 for portraits.Feedback
Really focus on the composition. The steps in the sand doesn't have to be straight. Think about what they symbolises. I interpret the straight line as determination. If you made a zig/zag / bended line it could symbolize indetermination. Also, put the person in the brightest area. The eye sees contrasts first ;)
