Great lines quiet colors and a nice symmetry whilst still being textured and detail. Nice shot and congratulations on being a finalist

Location
Photo has been taken in Paris at Metro Station Châtelet - Les Halles.Time
Shot was taken just after midnight. This time station is pretty closed to be closed and there is almost nobody around.Lighting
Well, that's underground place so we have artificial lighting there only. Although it is really enough to make pretty sharp shot it is better to increasse ISO a bit.Equipment
I did use my old fellow means NIKON D90 and Sigma 17-70. No tripod or any other special tools were used in that case.Inspiration
Coming back to home I was really intrigued by the emptiness and loneliness of this place which is really heavily crowdly starting from early morning till the midnight day by day. This, let's call it delta force me to make this shot.Editing
Yes, I did. To emphasize the emptiness and loneliness of this place I used B&W. This solution is the best to show the atmosphere and make the shots which act on imagination of the audience. In my camera bag
Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D90 + Sigma 17-70. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.Feedback
Try to make as many shots as possible in very short time and every time it is possible. Think about the shot before. What crop, position your are going to use. That will make your life easier. Do not give up, never. If not this time maybe next. Do not lose the opportunity, try to come back to the places you are at different period of the day. Remember that's not equipment is making you photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others.
