Location
Photo was taken in Breda, Netherlands this year.Time
Was almost at the end of the day. Light was pretty warm and really nice. Almost no wind what can be seen on the shot.Lighting
Shot was taken with the light behind my back. Sun was coming directly on the building giving really nice warm view.Equipment
I did use my old fellow means NIKON D90 and Sigma 17-70. No tripod or any other special tools were used in that case.Inspiration
We came to Breda at noon and I was saying to my wife -We will stay here till the end of the day. It's very nice bay and we need to come back here to take the shot-. She was laughing on me. I was waiting almost half a day in Breda to take this shot. However, at the end of the day I was winner here. I love the combination of new and old buildings and reflections coming out the water.Editing
In that particular shot I decided to use B&W. In addition to this I enhanced photo by sharpening & blackening to obtain my vision I had in my mind during taking this shot.In my camera bag
Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D90 + Sigma 17-70. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.Feedback
Try to make as many shots as possible in very short time. Think about the shot before. What crop, position your are going to use. That will make your life easier. Do not give up, never. If not this time maybe next. Do not lose the opportunity, try to come back to the places you are at different period of the day. Remember that's not equipment is making you photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others.
