Hmm, I think it's pretty obvious :), however, yes that's Paris, that's La Tour Eiffel qui j'aime bien. This photo was taken in Paris where I have spent almost two years of my life. I have seen La Tour Eiffel each day and each day was looking differently.Time
Was almost the end of the day. I have returned from the job and decided to go outside to Trocadero to have a look on La Tour Eiffel.Lighting
It was not sunny end of the day. A lot of clouds came to Paris this time and at the end there was pretty havy rain there. However, before I took a lot of shots with very nice looking clouds. La Tour Eiffel looks pretty apocalyptic with some of them :). The proof is over there.Equipment
I did use my old fellow means NIKON D90 and Sigma 17-70. No tripod or any other special tools were used in that case.Inspiration
I was just coming back to my apartment from the job. It was cloudly entire day and already in the job I was thinking OK it can be this day. Just come back take the camera and go out. And here we have result of that.Editing
In that particular shot I decided to use B&W because of the interesting nice looking clouds. In addition to this I enhanced clouds by sharpening & blackening to obtain apocalyptic vision I had in my mind.In my camera bag
Well, I use my second fellow during my travels means case logic backpack. Nothing special inside. I am not professional. So, I use one set: NIKON D90 + Sigma 17-70. That's enough. Of course not forgetting about the snacks.Feedback
Wherever you go take the camera with you. They are saying that we have golden hours to make the pictures. Maybe, but I do not stick to this so often. Simply, try to make as many shots as possible in every time of the day. You do not need sunny day. Cloudly one is even more interesting. Think about the shot before. Leaving in the same place by some time it is very easy to know when or what happen with the scene you see every day. What crop, position your are going to use. You can easily check it each day and use is for the best shot. That will make your life easier. Do not give up, never. If not this time maybe next, you are leaving there don't you. Do not lose the opportunity. At this kind of condition you will have another chance every day. And remember that's not equipment is making you photographer. That's you, only you. Limited equipment is making you more creative. So, go, take the shots and share them with others.
