Location
This photo was taken in Ocala Florida, right in a friendly neighborhood.Time
This was taken in the middle of the afternoon. They car had just been washed and sitting there. It was not staged. It was just sitting and the sun hitting just right, a picture just had to be taken. There was no professional cameras ready, so out can the cell phone and SNAP, the image was created.Lighting
This was one of those point and shoot images. No light setup or flash. Spear of the moment. Sometimes you see something, and you just know that it needs to be captured.Equipment
There were no professional cameras or flashes involved. It was taken with a samsung cell phone. This was a spur of the moment, need to capture the image.Inspiration
Sometimes you see an object, sunset, person, etc and you just know it would be a great photograph. This was one of those moments! The angle was right, the lighting was hitting just perfect and it was a must take moment. Without my professional camera available, out came a trusty cell phone. And from this a beautiful image was born. The image was made into a 16 x 20 image and is now hanging in the home.Editing
Being this was cell phone capture, I did bring it into lightroom with some basic adjustments, then imported the image into photoshop for some creative processing. The car is beautiful on it own, but with some creative detail, playing with exposure, detail, highlights, shadows and more, this is the image I came up with.In my camera bag
Normally I carry three canon cameras, three flashes, tripod, and some other canon accessories with me at all times. This particular day, there was not a professional camera with me. I saw this car and it was a must have picture, so out came a cell phone to the rescue.Feedback
If you are a photographer, a must is to carry your camera gear at all times. You never know when you are going to capture the award winning photograph. And if you happen to not have your gear. Don't hesitate to pull our your cell phone. Had I decided that my camera gear was not with me, I might have missed this image. Improvise if you must.
